Leading patient education platform now available to Epic users
YARDLEY, Pa. (November 15, 2017) – StayWell, a leading health solutions company, today announced that its app — Krames On FHIR® (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) — is now available to Epic users via the Epic App Orchard program.

Using SMART on FHIR® technologies, an open, standards-based health care app platform, Krames On FHIR integrates into the Epic platform, giving providers immediate access within their existing workflows to suggested educational content on thousands of topics included in HealthSheets, lab tests, drug sheets, videos, KidsHealth® instructions, and discharge instructions.
Krames On FHIR also enables Meaningful Use and MACRA reimbursement by offering patient engagement materials tailored specifically to patient age, gender and primary language. Content can also be customized to support the branding and clinical needs of individual hospitals and health systems.
