We believe in the value
of patient education and we're confident there's no better patient
education available than Krames. But don't just take our word for
it. If you're skeptical, we invite you to read what some of our
customers are saying about the positive outcomes they've experienced
when using Krames. |
The illustrations
are masterful. We find them enlightening and entertaining when
educating our patients.

As an adjunct to
1:1 RN to patient education process, we use Krames materials in
our Pre-Admission Testing department. The artwork is excellent
and the printed information is presented in a manner that is non-threatening
to patients preparing for surgery.

We have been using Krames
publications for the past several years. Both the staff and our
patients greatly appreciate the Krames approach of utilizing colorful
graphics and to-the-point explanations of diseases or procedures.
The fonts are visible and easy to read. You not only save the time
it would take a nurse to cover all the information but provide us
with a chance to give something to the patient to take with him
or her to show and share with their families. Since we are located
in a retirement community, our patient's families don't live close
by and often rely on mom or dad to give them all the information.
We are now looking at opportunities to utilize Krames On-Demand
since it will provide us with the patient education at the touch
of the button.

I
have used Krames publications for more than 10 years-they provide
patients with clear, easy to understand information. The graphics
are excellent. They pinpoint all the need-to-know aspects of a patients
disease state. Thank you Krames for making education easier.

I first began using the
Krames booklets in 1976 when I graduated from PT school. They were
informative and helpful to my patients. Now, twenty-six years later,
I find myself still using the little booklets for our patients and
am very impressed how much the "Krames Library" has expanded.
Last week, I was in the dentist's chair and overheard a conversation
between my dentist and an elderly lady. He was very patient in taking
the time to explain the problem and then treatment to her and this
reinforced the importance of patient education in my orthopedic rehabilitation
clinic. Krames has done such an excellent job on explaining the how's
and why's of orthopedic conditions and the management of these conditions,
that I've ordered the personalized Orthopaedics Krames On-Demand CD
to enhance my practice and facilitate the outcome of our rehab programs.

Krames publications are used in our Cardiac
Wellness Program on a daily basis. From impatient teaching to one-on
one education and also in classroom settings, they are the best.
With easy-to-understand language, to-the-point information and outstanding
visuals, Krames stands above the rest. Krames is also the only publication
with standing approval in our hospital system, which makes it so
much easier and faster for us to make education available to our
patients.

In my 16 years of nursing,
I have had the opportunity to utilize the Krames education booklets
and am thrilled with them. From cardiology to diabetes, Krames has
booklets for all literacy levels and preferred learning styles. While
I have always depended on Krames for educational material, I did not
appreciate them as much as I do now. My husband recently had surgery
for an umbilical hernia. Before his visit to the surgeon, I tried
desperately to explain the defect and the surgery itself. I even attempted
crude drawings to illustrate. After seeing the surgeon, he came home
with a Krames booklet. The information and pictures were so accurate,
right down to the size and shape of the incision. A picture is indeed
"worth a thousand words." Sherri

I see Colostomy patients
pre-op and post-op. Krames educational Colostomy booklets are developed
to get a patient to follow step-by-step with visual pictures of
the various learning activities. They are colorful, easy to follow
and loved by all ages and educational levels. I would recommend
Krames educational materials to all health care facilities where
education is the focus for prevention and management of diseases.

Krames patient education
materials have been a mainstay at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic for patient
education resources. I have been with Kelsey-Seybold for 18 years,
and cannot remember a time we were not using materials from Krames.
In committees where we determine which materials to use, Krames consistently
provides materials which are excellent. We have found them to be medically
based in content reflection current practices, and user friendly.
They have great eye appeal to the consumer with text and supporting
pictures to best meet patient needs. Linda

In my opinion
the educational booklet Understanding ADHD is a very informative
resource material for the pediatric/adolescent patient as well as
the parent because of the simplicity of the information that is
given.

Krames has been a valuable
resource for our patients, staff and community. I have worked with
Kelsey-Seybold six years and from the very beginning I was oriented
to the literature that Krames offers. The resources that you provide
are very important to newly diagnosed patients with health problems.
The staff will give the patient the initial information verbally and
we then provide the booklet, brochures and/or videos that will help
our patient population stay informed on what's going on with them.
In short, Krames has helped us to empower our patients with knowledge
and options. Veronica

After evaluating many companies
which provide patient and family education, Krames publications
are the number one choice. Krames provides information which is
well organized, easy to read (customer friendly, customer focused).
Krames publications also focus on cultural diversity (ex. Spanish
publications.) Thanks!

We've been using Krames
publications in our Health Info Center, since we first opened last
October. Both the staff and our patients appreciate the Krames approach
that clearly explains complex conditions and procedures. The other
company's educational material doesn't even come close! Krames booklets
are the best! What the patients like most are the graphics –
this really makes patient teaching easier. Thanks Krames for the wonderful
educational products. Tammie

We were looking for a product
that would provided a broad range of health education information
at all sites within our organization. (Krames On-Demand Internet)
HealthSheetsTM are easy to access, and our staff was pleased with
the graphics as well as having the information available in Spanish.
Patient drug information as part of the package is a real plus for
our nurses. KODi staff has been great to work with, very helpful and
responsive. Cathy Nagy,
